This season we have re-thought, re-engineered and rebuilt every little bit of the UltraRange to make it more sustainable. This includes a molded VR3Cush™ midsole, a lightweight construction, a VR3Waffle™ rubber outsole, and a breathable upper designed to reduce waste in production compared to Vans’ traditional cut and sew uppers.
- One piece knit upper is made with 50% organic cotton, 36% recycled PET, and 14% recycled nylon.
- VR3Cush™ midsole is made using at least 50% biobased EVA foam partially derived from plant-based sources
- The VR3Waffle™ outsole (60% of the compound) is regeneratively grown natural rubber sourced from farms utilizing agricultural practices that are intended to promote biodiversity.
