Spring Court
Spring Court was born in 1936 when Georges Grimmesein revolutionized the world of tennis shoes. He invented a never before seen shoe with an upper cotton canvas and vulcanized rubber sole. It was then and there that tennis players across the world threw out the espadrilles and embraced what would become the universal tennis shoe. Spring Court shoes then were able to outshine their competitors by creating their four hole technology, with holes in the sole to give it extra ventilation. In the sixties and seventies, Spring Court classic tennis shoes were embraced by pop cultured and became even more famous after being sported by celebrities like John Lennon. Today, the legendary tennis shoe hasn't stopped being popular, constantly being featured in fashion magazines such as People, Ok!, Marie Claire, Elle, and Glamour, and being sported by many celebrities such as Kate Moss, Jude Law, and Liam Gallagher. The classic design and practical comfort of these timeless shoes have made them be the number one tennis shoe for over 70 years. |
