Puma

Puma is one of the leading brands in the sports industry. The company's history begins in Germany where two young German brothers, Rudolf and Adolf Dassler, started a shoe company called the "Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory". During World War II differences between the two brothers caused them to split, each creating their own independent shoe company. Adolf named his company after his name "Adi", for Adolf and "Das" for his last name, Adidas. Rudolf did the same and created a company called Ruda, that later on became what we know today as Puma. In the following years Puma took off quickly, sponsoring soccer world cups as well as many sports in the Olympics. Toda Puma is a company of great size; it has approximately 9,204 employees and distributes its products in more than 80 countries and their own stores all over the world. Their shoes are number one in the soccer industry. In a way, Puma's history forshadowed the rest of its life, as well as turned into the company that it is; always having close competition, Puma is constantly renewing itself, creating innovative products. Aside from their soccer shoes collection, Puma creates shoes for almost every sport, specializing in running shoes and cleats, as well as fashionable sportswear collections. Puma has proven its excellence over and over again in every shoes they create, their drive to create great sports shoes keeps them on their toes and leads them to create unmatchable top quality shoes
