PF Flyers
The name PF comes from "Posture Foundation" which was the new technology in 1933 that set a new standard in sneaker comfort – that became the basis for the brand name "PF Flyers". From then on PF Flyers turned into a major brand creating many types of shoes with their technology, such as oxfords, boots, heels and of course sneakers.  Sneakers went from being exclusively sports shoes, to casual wear shoes, worn on any day with any casual outfit. PF Flyers became famous in the 1950’s for their sport shoes, especially in track, basketball and baseball – and it was featured in the classic film "The Sandlot".  From the classic high-top to timeless deck styles, PF Flyers is credited with many iconic sneaker styles that set trends in sneaker design. PF Flyers is still one of the top sneaker brands, and is featured in major fashion publications like GQ, Euroman, Men’s Fitness, New York Times Style Magazine, Esquire, CosmoGirl, Star, Life&Style. Today PF Flyers are still one of the leading American sneaker brands and their success lies in their commitment to providing quality comfort and sticking to their timeless styles. |
