Levi's
Levi Strauss &Co is the father if the blue jeans. Although around since the 1800s, Levi's popularity rose in the sixties and seventies when people started wearing denim. Jeans emerged in the twenties, but even then mainly farmers and workers were the only ones who wore them, and it wasn't until the hippie era, that the same into everyday life fashion. Following Levi's by the eighties other companies had begun producing jeans as well, but none of them compared to the Levi's jeans; having had decades of experience, Levi's were the only ones who knew the secret formula to the true all American jeans. Levi's was founded in San Francisco, in 1873, and today it is a worldwide company, their products reaching, Europe, Asia and Africa. Since then, Levi's has continued to specialized in denim, but have added other clothing to the repertoire as well, and as of recently added a shoe collection. Bringing the same, old school, traditional jean style to their shoes, Levi's makes quality leather and other material boots, that are stylish yet have a vintage feel. |
