Juicy Couture became famous because of its famous tracksuit in early 2000s, which quickly became a fashion crazy, worn by famous stars like Madonna and Jenifer Lopez. But the company got its start earlier in 1994, when Juicy Couture designers Gela Taylor and Pamela Skaist-Levy met. They got together because they wanted to create a stylish and elegant line of maternity clothes. Somehow that turned into Juicy Couture. The thought being that women in America, and elsewhere, wanted to wear couture while being comfortable and affordable. And so the Juicy tracksuit emerged, becoming a craze in America. Their style is decadent, with embroideries and logos done in gold, rhinestones, velvet, and deep colors. Since then Juicy Couture has expanded its horizons to many other areas, like kids clothing, accessories, pets clothing, and shoes. Juicy Shoes have been very successful, making cute and comfortable flats, sneakers wedges and boots for girls and women. Their motto of decadence and couture turned into comfort translates into their shoes as well, with deep rich colors, and jewelry inspired logos. Their children's collection is meant to make every girl feel like a Juicy princess, featuring flats, sandals and boots. Juicy Couture is today the leading brand in casual women's and girl's clothing, their products constantly combining luxury and style with comfort.
