Franco Sarto, the man, has been breathing and sweating shoes since his childhood. Born just outside of Venice, Italy Started began his shoe carrier on the construction end of it, when he was only fourteen working in a shoe factory, hand-lasting shoes with a hammer and nail. By his early twenties though, he began working on the artistic-design part of it, moved to Stra, Italy center for all design - and partnered up with his friend and began do design shoes for the public. Since then Franco Sarto has been incomparable in his skill for making quality and beautiful shoe. It is his background as both as a cobbler and a designer that allows Franco Sarto to achieve the perfect combination of impeccable quality and flawless design. Well known in the shoe world as well as in the celebrity community, Franco Sartos have been on the top of the most desired shoes for decades.
