Enzo Angiolini
With a keen eye for design, Enzo Angiolini began his career as a shoe factory apprentice at the young age of 15. Quickly rising in respect and skill, Angiolini expanded his efforts from Montopoli to the United States. Early on, the designer worked for Domani, Salvatore Montinaro, and Edison Brothers and McCann. Impressively, under Enzo Angiolini the brand Bandolino grew from a $13 million-a-year business to a $120-a-year enterprise. This accomplishment was not a stopping point for the driven designer and he set his sights on developing a line of women's shoes under his own name in 1984. Today, the brand is owned by Jones New York's Nine West division and is distributed throughout the world. |
