Associate Buyer

DNA Footwear is seeking an Associate Buyer to join the buying team and work closely with the Senior Buyer, helping to grow and maintain relationships with key vendors. The successful candidate will be self-starting, flexible, highly organized, results-oriented, and reliable, and will have excellent computer skills. He or she must have the proven ability to work well under pressure in a demanding environment where teamwork is key. He or she will also be career-oriented with a strong desire to take on increasing levels of responsibility as well as have the necessary business acumen to produce sales growth and meet/exceed the annual financial objectives.

• Buy assortment of products appropriately by division, and by season
• Develop, maintain, and differentiate the online and in-stores selling environments and highlight key product by season
• Develop, analyze and deliver merchandise reporting. Use reporting to develop an in-depth understanding of in-stores and online product performance and customer preferences
• Produce weekly reports with a high level of accuracy, including analyzing reports and making recommendations to the senior buyer
• Must regularly review performance indicators and make suggestions to the senior buyer
• Partner with senior buyer in identifying new trends, new lines, and re-orderable items
• Manage plans for inventory levels, reacting to change in demand and logistics
• Report to the senior buyer weekly and monthly business updates
• Meet and maintain relationships with existing brands and source new vendors for future products
• Partner with vendors to maintain an in-depth understanding of product lines
• Attend trade shows and appointments as needed
• Plan, develop, and perform markdown and pricing strategies in-stores and online
• Develop and implement cross sell strategy by brands, and by season
• Communicate with marketing team to develop promotions strategy weekly, monthly, and seasonally
• Partner with the warehouse team to ensure product is delivered/received in a timely manner

Office Assistant

DNA Footwear is seeking a full-time Office Assistant to join its team and work closely with the Office Manager, helping with administrative tasks. The successful candidate will be self-starting, flexible, highly organized, results-oriented, and reliable, and will have excellent computer skills. He or she must have the proven ability to work well under pressure in a demanding environment where teamwork is key

• General administrative support such as: phone coverage, processing mail, photocopying, filing, faxing, scheduling, and travel arrangements
• Create reports/spreadsheets using Excel
• Organize, prioritize, and complete assignments in a timely manner
• Assist the Office Manager in other administrative tasks as needed

Skills & Experience:

• Must possess strong work ethic and be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Must be highly organized, responsible, and have strong communication skills
• Must possess strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must demonstrate good judgment, initiative and attention to detail
• Must be able to track time and resources to prioritize work

Retail Sales Manager

Computer skills are required for this position, the applicant must be familiar with Microsoft Office as well as be able to learn new computer programs. Responsibilities include:

• Manage heavy incoming calls efficiently.
• Accurately processing customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns.
• Maintaining customer files which includes careful note taking of transactions and customer interactions
• Being familiar with inventory and products we sell in order to answer customer's questions about products in a helpful manner.
• Monitoring scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed
• Learning new computer programs optimized for sales and shipping
• Presenting a professional and helpful image at all times to customers and vendors

Website Product Developer

DNAFootwear.com is currently looking for Website Product Developers. Applicants for this position must be a fast learner, attentive to direction and be able to efficiently multi-task. This is a mainly computer oriented position, therefore computer skills are required. Applicant must be familiar with Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and learn new programs pertaining to product developing. Careful attention to detail and organization are essential for this position. Responsibilities include:

• Gathering product information for product descriptions
• Physically creating the products online and uploading the pictures.
• Organizing products on Microsoft Excel.
• Learning how to use inventory and stock programs.
• Editing product images with Adobe Photoshop

Product Photographer and Graphic Designer

DNAFootwear.com is currently looking for Website Product Photographer and Graphic Designers. The applicant for this position must have training in photography and graphic design. Applicant must be hardworking, dedicated, attentive to direction and detail, and efficiently multi-task. Computer skills are required, applicant must be familiar with Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe LightRoom. Responsibilities include:

• Taking pictures of products in website format and angles
• Taking creative pictures of products for website images and banners.
• Editing product pictures to be consistent with website
• Creating graphic design website and promotional images featuring the products.

Blog Internship:

DNA Footwear is currently seeking fashion blog interns to join our blogging team. We are currently in the process of expanding and redesigning our social media and blog. During this redesign process, we want to bring on a team of bloggers that can post 2-3 times a week. 

• The fashion blogging position requires a background in journalism or fashion blogging and the individual must have experience working with Wordpress and Photoshop.
• Need to have an already established blog and active/engaging social media accounts with a strong following.
