There is a footwear epidemic sweeping the nation (ok, maybe just Hollywood) and its ringleader is Minnetonka. From Kate Moss to Lindsay Lohan, celebrities strut their street style for the cameras, sporting Minnetonka boots and booties. These moccasins were invented long before Kate Moss stopped eating and Lohan went to jail (for the fifth time) and will be here long after this trend has come and gone — which we don’t foresee in the near future.
The boots are perfect for a quick trip to the newsstand to pick up your weekly tabloids or for a weekend music festival. Easy to match with nearly anything you’ll find comfort in the ultra-soft suede, which only gets softer over time. Celebrities like Sienna Miller inspire us to dream big, work hard, and shop even harder.  The actress slash model was recently spotted rocking slouchy sandstone strappy boots on THREE separate occasions – she must really love those boots (and those jeans).
While we don’t advise wearing them every day (nobody likes a repeat offender), Miller shows us how easy these boots transition from one jean and slouchy sweater combo to the next. Unlike Miller, try wearing the boots not only with jeans but also with a boho dress or even crimson red chords.  Wear the OTBT Noblesville Flat Ankle Boot mid-calf or rolled down for a slouchy “I don’t have time to strap myself in” look.

You can’t be a shoe fanatic and not feel akin to Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) — the style icon who put Manolo on the map. While we don’t advise spending a month’s rent on one pair of Manolos or Loubs, you can still pull a ‘Carrie’ with DNA Footwear.
Before you select a pair or heels, ask yourself ‘What Would Carrie Do?’ and style accordingly. The fashionable New Yorker galavants around the city in only the most coveted footwear — from Swarovski crystals to bow embellished stilettos. Rarely will you catch Carrie in flats, which is unrealistic for a New Yorker who spends her days walking, but since it’s Sex and the City we’ll overlook this inaccuracy.

Thursday November 3, 2011 — With only two weeks until Part I of Breaking Dawn hits theaters, Twilight fever has hit Los Angeles. Greeted by hundreds of screaming fans, the young Twilight celebrities added their hand and footprints to an already impressive list of Hollywood stars.
Kristen Stewart wore a mini dress from Marios Schwab’s spring 2012 collection to the Hand and Foot Print Ceremony at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood along with fellow Twilight costars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. The ever-so-awkward young woman arrived to the ceremony wearing black velvet Brian Atwood pumps, but quickly changed into checkered Vans for the actual foot printing.
We may not be die-hard about Twilight , but here at DNA Footwear we are crazed Vans fans (unintentional rhyme). From classic white to checkered Vans, the original slip-on sneaker is comfortable and seamlessly clean. Pairing your Vans slip-ons with a formal mini dress is not recommended but as we know, Stewart is anything but conventional.

It’s 1 pm and after hours of endless blog reading, fashion blogger Blonde Bedhead caught our attention.
According to self-proclaimed “PR Pro” Andrea, “I love anything slouchy and comfortable”, making the Mia Naomi High Heel Tan Bootie a perfect fit. During a day dedicated to errunds, the blogger paired her Mia Naomi Booties with black skinny pants, a pancho, faux fur cowl, slouchy bag, and sunnies — the perfect match up for a lazy yet chic day. We admire Andrea of Blonde Bedhead for her continuously impressive style choices, especially when it comes to her footwear.
