Military inspiration has been walking down every single runway this season, so it is no wonder that this trend is hot in men’s boots. The military-style Palladium boots are the latest hit in men’s footwear. Palladium is a quality brand that has been around for some time–they were worn by Will Smith throughout the movie I Am Legend.
Even Will Smith's dog (in I Am Legend) likes his Palladium Pampa boots!
But this year Palladium boots have really taken off and are now the hottest item in shoes this season. Popular Palladium styles include the Baggy and Pampa lace-up styles, which have been vacating shelves in shoestores all over the country (But we have them!) A celebrity favorite, the Baggy has been spotted worn by Reality TV star Johnny Knoxville.
Johnny Knoxville looks pretty comfy in his Palladium Baggy boots.
The best part of these boots is that while they fit right into the trend, they are also practical and comfortable. With their weather versatility, a combination of canvas and leather upper, and a super resistant outer sole, these boots are ready to take on any challenge.

Ever hear those skeptics that pooh-pooh the fashion trends of today, saying that they’re all just repeats from past decades? Â Well, here’s a trend that blows that one out of the water: cuffed boots. Â There has truly never been anything like it before. Â Check out sultry siren and fashionista Kim Kardashian, who loves this trend.

Cuffed boots almost look like regular boots worn with boot-cut jeans. Â They should be worn with super-skinny jeans or leggings. Â They can be knee-high, like Kim’s, calf-high, or even ankle high. Â In fact, if you’ve been rocking the thigh-high boot trend that’s been so popular this season, you might even consider this DIY-fix: turn over the tops of your thigh-highs to make trendy cuffed boots! Â Or be like Kim and get a pair for every day of the week:

Here’s Kim again in a stylish suede pair. Â We love how she keeps the rest of her outfit simple, letting the out-of-the-ordinary trend shine through. Â Stylists are calling this an under-the-radar trend that you’ll start to see everywhere this fall. Â So get a jump on the trend and start rocking your cuffed boots now! Â Below are our editors’ picks for the cutest cuffed boots of the season.
These cleverly-named Oh Shucks cuffed boots by Gentle Soles are spot-on for the trend. We love the suede, stacked heel, and great color that both stands out and goes with everything.
We also love these Harper boots by Miss Sixty. The button cuff somehow reminds us of the leather fingerless gloves from the 80's. And if it was good enough for Madonna, it's good enough for us!
Give cuffed boots a try this fall!

 Carrie Underwood (source: coolspotters.com)
Carrie Underwood’s performance on The Today Show in August was perfect to a ‘T’. The American Idol winner and country music star always impresses when she’s on stage. But Underwood’s expertise apparently extends beyond singing and performing; she’s got an eye for fashion.
At age 27, Carrie has walked down more red carpets than your average Hollywood singer, flawless every time. Her Today show get-up was no exception. With a schoolgirl theme in mind, Carrie combined a very cute pair of shorts with a blazer, over-the-knee socks and a collegiate tie. However, what makes an outfit is the shoes, and Carrie’s choice is the Rock & Republic Ginny high heel pump.

The Ginny pairs a bootie style with a peep-toe finish, mesh upper and tiny stud details. These shoes completed Carrie’s outfit by adding an unexpected element of edge and high fashion – just what it needed to go from just cute to absolutely fabulous. These Rock & Republic pumps are the must-have shoe of the season, as they instantly boost the style of any outfit, thanks to the super high heel and platform flatter any body type. The Ginny booties from Rock & Republic bring the latest of the runway to close within your reach at an affordable price and are the perfect piece to add that level of edge to any cute outfit.

There’s a reason that celebrities like Leighton Meester, Miley Cyrus, Ashley Tisdale, and Vanessa Minillo love Frye boots: they’re swoon-worthy. Â It may be hot outside, but make no mistake: fall is rolling in, and you’d better be ready for it. Â Boots are basically all you can find on store shelves right now, and it’s absolutely necessary for every fashionista to have several pairs to rock with this season’s hot trends: leather, lace, capes, layers, camel coats, and knee-high socks.
There’s nothing like a pair of super sexy boots for a night out, whether they’re patent leather, thigh-high, or stiletto (but please, ladies, not all three at once).  But even the fashion superheroes among us can’t (and wouldn’t) wear these styles for every day.  When trucking through the rain, sleet and snow, you want something that will keep your tootsies warm and comfy all day long.  Tooties, meet the Veronica slouch boot by Frye.
Frye has long been known for its excellent quality and timeless styles. Â It gets a little trendy with this Veronica boot, which has adefinite biker chic vibe with its clunky soles, ankle straps and hardware detailing.
The Veronica slouch boot lives up to its name, too–you can flap down the top edges like Miley Cyrus and Ashley Tisdale to bump up the rocker factor, or you can push the soft fabric all the way down a la Leighton Meester for that sexy I’m-not-trying-but-I-look-perfect style.
Whether giving a hard edge to a girly flowered skirt, giving the perfect vibe to a tough-as-nails biker outfit complete with leather jacket, or making a simple, trendy statement with jeans and a tee, these Veronica slouch boots will take you all the way through fall and winter, clear though to spring.
They’re available in this great pewter color, and you can also get them in black and dark brown. Â The Veronica isn’t the only great boot that Frye makes, though–check out some more of their awesome styles here.

It’s no secret that celebrities love to stand out. Â And when it comes to shoes, what better way to do that then with studded, embellished evening sandals? Â Talk about camera-ready!

Here, Molly Sims, Jennifer Connelly, Rihanna and Audrina Patridge wear the same pair of crystal-studded sandals on the runway. Â They are all sporting the Balmain Crystal Embellished Studded Sandal, which has been a big hit with tons of celebs recently. Â These shoes are perfectly rocker-chic, giving just the right amount of edge to a pretty party dress (or in Rihanna’s case, glamming up basics). Â One problem–they retail for $2,300!
Luckily, us normal girls can afford this star-worthy look without paying the sky-high price. Â Check out these similar styles from DNAFootwear. Â We think they’re the perfect way to add a little cool to your going-out attire.

This “Lucy” shoe by Good Choice has all the cool-girl elements of the Balmain shoe–at only $69.99

The “Cleo” sandal by Dolce Vita is another fave. Â It has the heavy straps and studs that make the Balmain shoe so cool, but the brown color tones it down and makes it a little more wearable. Â Also afforable at $99.99!

Queen of Pop Katy Perry swept over the Today Show this past week and made an impression with her lively performance of her hit song “California Gurls.” But what attracted most of the attention was her original ensemble — from the streaks of pink hair in her high pony tail to her bubble-gum pink stone covered body suit and all the way down to her hot pink shoes. To complete her electric pink get-up, Katy chose the Nova sandal from Chelsea Crew.

The Nova sandal was a great choice for Katy for its vibrant, fuchsia color and its comfort. The heel height and width of this Chelsea Crew sandal allows the shoe to be just as comfortable as it is stylish. Naturally, Katy needs shoes that let are comfortable enough for her to rock out and put on the awe-striking performances that she so often does. The Nova sandals are comfortable, trendy, come in an an eye-popping color, and have an air of vintage style. The Chelsea Crew Nova sandals may seem like they could only be a Teenage Dream, but they could be any girl’s perfect shoe!

In the same way that all things 80′s and 90′s have returned to high fashion for the past few seasons, it’s no surprise that Dr. Martens (or ‘Doc’ Martens) have in turn come back to grace the runways this season. Doc Martens were once the ultimate accessories, a fashion statement that was thought to never come back again — much like leg warmers, shoulder pads, leggings, high-waisted jeans and big bows. But the “never-again” trends of the 80′s and 90′s have defied protest and returned with a roar — and in the form of Doc Martens.
Doc Martens’ style is inspired by military and hardware, two themes that have been consistently spotted this season on runways and in magazines.

Doc Martens have hit it big amongst young Hollywood celebrities, and have been spotted on stars like Dakota Fanning and Emma Roberts.

Doc Martens are made of materials that provide durability and comfort. The boots accent any outfit; they come in an wide array of colors and can spice up a girlie outfit or be casual when paired with a big sweater and jeans. And for those girlie-girls out there who still want in on this fabulous 80s revamp, Doc Martens come in the classic boot but with different floral prints and metallic textures. Whether we could anticipate a resurge in past decades’ styles or not, one thing’s for sure: we couldn’t bring back the 80′s without a classic shoe that turns gives any outfit a fashionable edge.
