One of the many reasons why I not only love Sex and the City, the series, but the latest film as well, is the wide variety of fashion styles constantly portrayed. The fashionista women of Sex and the City (Carrie, Samantha, Miranda, and Charlotte) are easy to connect and related to because, like me and countless other women, they choose to try out many styles. Because life situations are quite varied, it would only make sense to wear shoes to go along with wherever, and whatever, you may be doing.

I have no problem admitting that I’m a Sex and the City addict. Not only did I watch every episode religiously when it aired on HBO, but I now own every season on dvd, books about Sex and the City, as well as the first feature film. When I found out there was going to be a second feature film awhile back, I practically screeched with joy.
One of the reasons why so many women (including myself) adore this series, other than the interesting characters, is the entertainment, awe, and education we get from the amazing fashion demonstrated by the leading ladies of Sex and the City. First and foremost, who hasn’t learned about the greatness of shoes from Sarah Jessica Parker’s character, Carrie Bradshaw? She is the epitome of a stylish, fashion-forward woman, and her trademark is her love of shoes. (Does anyone else remember the episode when she realized she had over 400 pairs of shoes?!)
As a tribute to the latest Sex and the City release, I will be posting various pictures of the lovely ladies with some of their inspiring shoe choices, as well as links where you could purchase them yourself! Enjoy!

Wedges have made a comeback in a big way. Â This year, fashionistas are wearing wedges with a hippie-chic vibe: the current trend is for the wedge part of the shoe to be made from a natural material, like cork, raffia, or wood. Â These natural shades and textured give this modern trend a timeless twist. Â Wedges pair well with other Summer 2010 trends: ruffled tops, floral prints, and floaty fabrics.

Super celebrities like the beautiful Kim Kardashian and her sister Kourtney Kardashian don’t seem to get very far without much media attention. Sometimes I wonder, on a typical day, how many pictures the paparazzi take of such celebrities as the Kardashians…20? 50? 100? Goodness knows they must have a great deal of patience and generosity, knowing that fans appreciate any insight into their fabulous lives they can get their hands on.

We all know how talented Britney Spears is with her music and singing career. Something I did not know about Britney Spears is her interesting shopping habits. According to OK Magazine, Britney changed looks completely while strolling around in Beverly Hills. I can understand changing at home for more appropriate event attire (and have done so on numerous occasions); changing a look while out and about by one’s self is definitely unusual. Who ever said Britney Spears was normal though?
 Ok Magazine Features Britney Spears Wearing Ugg Boots Aside from her interesting changing/shopping habits, I noticed in OK Magazine Britney Spears’ choice of shoes displayed. Beyoncé is one of those people who just seems to possess every sought after quality imaginable: she’s beautiful, she can act, she can sing, and she has tons of style. To top it all off, she shared with People Magazine’s Style Watch that apparently she can also walk on cobblestones wearing high heels!! Is it fair for one person alone to possess this many talents??
